At the KARL STORZ showroom located at 7 Derbenevskaya Embankment, Building 4, Moscow, a next-generation training and demonstration operating room has been implemented. The project was developed on the basis of the training center and the headquarters of KARL STORZ Endoskope, in collaboration with the technical specialists of Elevate.
Within the project, a unified space showcases the key capabilities of the climate-controlled medical module and the OR1 equipment by KARL STORZ Endoskope. The solution integrates modern engineering technologies, flexible architectural approaches, and innovative materials used in the design of high-tech operating units, along with advanced medical equipment.
The demonstration room features various types of wall panels, including standard gypsum-metal solutions, as well as several types of glass panels — from decorative printed panels to unique SMART glass panels designed for performing procedures with training and real-time process visualization.
Additionally, RGB lighting has been implemented for wall panels and ceiling fixtures, enabling the creation of ambient lighting in various shades and allowing the lighting environment to be adapted to the requirements of specific surgical procedures. The resulting operating room demonstrates a comprehensive approach to the design of modern medical spaces and serves as a platform for training, presentations, and showcasing technological capabilities.
